It's irrelevant the number of matches you get if they don't turn into real-life meets. If your matches aren't translating into meeting girls face to face then you might as well get no matches at all. Seeing as it's really difficult for most men to get that far, your experience is not unusual. You've heard of the 80-20 rule which I think will change to 90-10 in the coming months. Tinder is pretty much useless for the majority of guys who are average-looking in average jobs. Only the very top 10-20% of men with male model pictures and built massive from the gym get the most matches and translate them into real-life meets. The rest are largely ignored.

If you want to get an idea of how different the Tinder experience is for guys as opposed to girls - watch one of your female friends swiping on her own Tinder account. Watch how many times she swipes left compared to how many times she swipes right.

Alright.. I have left my profile for like 4 hours now, so far I have 85 likes..

at 1 hour in, I had about 45 likes..

So I’m guessing that’s around 85 matches for 4 hours (that’s if I was to pay for tinder gold and like them all back)

I’m not sure if this is good or bad, but my pictures weren’t particularly the best.. couple selfies with a full body pic.... (I’m not going to go fully into details)
