Healthcare job

Do I need specific degree for healthcare or I can just do without it,and after how many years can I work as Senior healthcare worker,also if I want to switch to nursing,whats the way out?

What job in healthcare?
Paramedic? Radiographer? Healthcare Assistant? Carer?
Carer or healthcare Assistant ,what's the ladder of roles?

you definitely don't need a degree to be a healthcare assistant or a carer
And for senior healthcare Assistant how can I be promoted to that role?

By gaining experience and getting the required competencies.
