Student Finance Application not approved

SFE has refused to accept my application for Tuition loan and every other application claiming that I have an equivalent qualification. I studied in the past, not in Europe, I was not an European citizen then and was a private student.
Now I am classified as a UK home fee student. I am going to study BSc Mental Health Nursing. What are my chances if appeal against the decision of SFE, what can I do to get student finance?

Hi, previous study/qualifications don't affect your eligibility to receive funding for mental health nursing.

Thank you for your email. I have just called SFE on phone to ask for a review of my account as you suggested. Unfortunately, the lady that answered my call, after reading through their previous decision, insisted that I am not eligible for funding due to the fact that I have previously studied, not in the UK.

Could you please let me know how or who to contact to have my account reviewed?

I am looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you immensely for your help.

Are you sure you applied for mental health nursing? Are you already a professionally registered nurse?
