OCR Chemistry PAG 6 help

In the first part of this practical you have to make aspirin from oil of wintergreen, NaOH and HCl.

In the analysis section, it asks to calculate the theoretical yield of product (aspirin), and gives its density as 1.17 g/cm3.

I gave it a go and got an answer, but I have no idea where the density of the oil comes in. Surely it wouldn't be provided if I didn't need it. Here's what I did:

Mr of wintergreen = 152
Mass used = 1.07g
Moles = 0.007039...
Moles of product= 0.007039...
Mr of product = 138
Mass of product (yield) = 0.97g

I'm pretty sure that was too easy. Where should I have used the density value?

Thanks!
