what are the four main types of mutation?

what are four main types of mutation?

I know there is
- substitution
- deletion
- insertion
- duplication
- inversion

but thats 5 not 4

Insertions and deletions are often grouped together as one form of mutation know as an indel.

The reason being: given two otherwise identical sequences in which one sequence contains an additional base, it is not possible to determine if this base was the result of an insertion or deletion.

Is this right for this question: Define the four main types of mutation

Substitutions - one base is changed to a different base

Insertions - point mutations in which one base is inserted into DNA sequence: addition of one or more nucleotides

Deletions - point mutation in which one base is deleted from DNA sequence: deletion of one or more nucleotides

Inversions - reverses the direction of parts of chromosome
