i’m thinking of doing this course next year, but i’m concerned about possible job opportunities, both areas of study interest me, but i can’t see wheres i’d be after graduation.
If you want prosperous career development, STEM degree suits you the best.

Working in the criminal justice system somewhere (prisons/probation/youth offending), in the public sector elsewhere, or for a charity, maybe? Or something entirely unconnected with your degree, quite possibly! I should do what you are drawn to - anyway, with law, even single honours, you would need to do further study to practice as a lawyer, and criminology (which is, essentially, sociology of crime one way or another) opens a lot of potential options, both directly and indirectly.
