There were lots of faces hence my surprise
but this makes sense. Not sure why it made me feel kinda depressed

Completely understandable reaction. It does feel like a form of online prostitution in a way that traditional pornography does not. I guess because OnlyFans sellers are more relatable to their viewers - students and young workers and professionals with a side hustle. It tries to tip the transactional vs emotional scales ever so slightly more towards the transactional, whereas the underlying emotional baggage still remains overwhelming because we're human and it will never go anywhere ever. That conflict is saddening in many ways.

I say this without judgment of any party involved by the way.

I judge it, i wish people could seek validation in healthier ways that actually work, and we didn't give so much power to 'anonymous' people making us feel good who may well just be obese old men with gout
