Will I get accepted to a grammar school with these results?

I am pretty sure my results are as follows:

Physics - 9
Computer - 8
Maths - 8
Biology - 8
Chemistry - 8
Geography - 7
RS - 7
Spanish - 7
Literature - 6
Language - 5

Do you think this is enough to get into a grammar school for sixth form?

your grade for language might hinder you depending on what grammar school you go to, some only want to see that your English language grade meets their requirements, whereas others don't mind which English you get the highest in.. but as a whole, your esteemed results are pretty solid, to get into a grammar school, would advise you set your sights on a higher grade for language

Are you an external candidate? What is the over-subscription rule?

Yes I’m external, they take about external 30 students each year

So read the over-subscription rules - how do they choose those 30 ...
They are ranked by number of points across top 8 gcses(grade 9 is 9 points, grade 8 is 8 points. and then the top 30 are selected

Which grammar 6th form (s) are you hoping to apply to? It is competitive as an external candidate, my grammar 6th form usually give you the BOD if you have achieved a great grade in the subjects u are applying for

really does depend on the grammar school you're going to, different grammar schools have different criteria.

You will just have to wait and see.Kegs externals tend to have lots of eights and nines across 8 subjects.

These are good subjects since they were your strongest at GCSE

As people have said, check the website, look for policies, see if there is anyone you know who moved to a grammar school for sixth form - I think the grades are good enough (check their website to see what scores the grammar school in question got if they offer secondary schooling) but I havent really spoken to any grammar schoolers

The subjects you are hoping to take are quite in demand- i'm at KEGS and there are some applicants whom have achieved straight grade 9's. Your results are excellent tho, due to the pandemic a lot of people havent achieved straight grade 9's and the admissions team are also bearing it in mind and being rather lenient.

If u missed a conditional offer and still want to go to that specific 6th form or received better results than expected than you can always check the 6th forms website and they will probably give you an email to send your grades to and they will give you a date of when they will get back to you regarding you attending in September btw.
