GOOD LUCK YEAR 10 AND HAVE FUN BUT DON'T FORGET TO CRACK DOWN

Hello everyone! Alisha here. Good luck everyone!
My hobbies are singing, dancing, exercising, revising and partying.
My compulsory subjects are:
English Lang and Lit (both Edexcel)
Mathematics (Edexcel)
Combined Science (AQA)

My specialist subjects are#:
French (AQA)
Dance (AQA)
Music (OCR)
Business Studies (Edexcel)
Computer Science (OCR)
My predicted grades would be:
English Lang (9)
English Lit (8)
Maths (7)
Combined Science (8)
French (9)
Dance (9)
Music (8)
Business Studies (7)
Computer Science (7)

I mostly want 7-9s because I need to revise more and get motivated.

My favourite way to revise is to use mind maps and exam practice workbooks.

My dream occupation would be to become a full-time actress (btw, I will also be going to Stagecoach Performing Arts School in Chigwell to practice).

My thoughts of leaving Year 9 is heartbreaking because I met new friends in CHA (Chadwell Heath Academy) such as Oana. But you get the point there. My thoughts of starting Year 10 is like a rollercoaster of emotions. I am willing to revise more regularly every single day.

Also, good luck in your future studies :h:

I'm definitely going to try and do a couple hours each night.

Regarding uni, I'm not 100% sure but I'd like to live at home and just commute into one in London but I'm definitely not discounting applying to ones further away too.

A couple of hours a school night or on the weekends?
If your answer is on school nights, ho2w many hours a night will you do?

On school nights, at least two but probably 3/4 on the weekend.

In terms of uni:
Cambridge
Durham
Nottingham
these are the only three I definitely will apply to

Revising is probably going to be daily but not for too long - maybe about 2/3 hours

Honestly I have no idea. Hopefully I can do 2 hours on weekdays and 3/4 hours on weekends spread across the day. I have problems getting myself to revise though, but anything is good.

I'd like to get into a good uni but I really don't know which one yet, but I guess I could aim as high as I can for Oxford/Cambridge, but that's a lot of pressure that I don't know I can handle. I'll see as time goes by I guess.

Any thoughts on which one you would want to go for? Because you can't apply for both in one admission cycle akdns
My son wants to go to Sheffield Hallam to study BA Hons Professional Policing.

In terms of combined revision and study time, he's doing 4-5 hours a week per subject.

Oh yeah, of course. I was just saying both because I don't really know which one is best at the moment.
Ahhhhh, it's hard. Both have equal reputations and are very hard to get into. Oxford, I guess. High student satisfaction, beautiful city (busier than Cambridge apparently which is a plus for me) and, of course, the reputation of the place.
Of course, this can change. It's just a matter of time.

Y'know, aim as high as possible and see where you get.
