RIP Jimmy Greaves MBE, Football Legend

Amazing that with all the hype about the Premier League and the money spent on players, it's this man that still has 3 scoring records:

Most goals in the English top flight with 357

Most goals in a season for Chelsea with 41 in 1960-61

Most goals in a season for Spurs with 37 in 1962-63

it is sad that he only received an MBE for his efforts. nowadays it would be a Knighthood.

You have forgotten to mention that he won the world cup in 1966 with the English team. Thanks that you gives us a reminder.

Farewell, Greaves!
RIP and the last few years of his life were very sad. Remember top-flight football started in 1888, not 1993, and his records will stand probably for ever.
