other ways into a childcare job/educational job

i want to do teaching in particular special needs.

ive seen i can do apprenticeships into teaching assistant and T levels but i dont know what either of these mean really. idk what an apprenticeship is like so if anyone is doing either T levels or an apprenticeship into the same thing please can you tell me as much as you can about it and what it is

It looks like a T Level is an alternative to A levels or BTEC when you are at college for 2 years. Apprenticeship can be done after 16 but most tend to opt to do it after leaving college

If you can find a T level in childcare or school setting go for it but it looks like it's a fairly new concept introduced by the government.

T Levels are;

Difference
T levels and apprenticeships are similar, they will be based upon the same standards which are designed by employers. However, an apprentice spends most of their time in the workplace, learning on-the-job, whereas a T level student will spend most of their time in the classroom.
