Advanced information for independent candidates?

In 2022 students will be told the focus of their exams in February by their teachers. For those of us who don't have teachers, what will this look like?

Adaptations for 2022
Arrangements have been put in place for summer 2022 to support students and make exams fairer for them. The government has introduced a choice of topics or content in some GCSE exams and exam boards will give advance information about the focus of the content of exams, designed to provide guidance for revision for students ahead of summer exams, and study aids will be allowed in some exams.

If the exam boards put it on their open area website then it should be accessible to all

Ok, I also don't understand why GCSE English literature, ancient history, and geography get advanced information but their harder A-level equivalents don't.
