Hard to say without a specific post being referenced, but it’s very possible someone applying for 2022 has old system GCSEs (Welsh/Norther Irish, International, gap year, grad etc)

Not sure which post you're referencing but I said in my post that I have 12 A*s. I'm a Welsh applicant and we are still using the letter system unlike England so those were the grades I achieved in 2020. Hope this helps :smile:
