should I drop out of uni

Hi, so I am 20 years and just started radiography this year and I don't think I want to do this as a career. I took 2 gap years and applied to loads of apprenticeships and didn't get in any so decided to do this degree but now I want to drop out and maybe apply for business management next year as I am looking for a career as a data scientist. I wanted to do business before got scared and didn't go for it. I have also thought about just doing this degree and doing a masters in computer science or business management but I don't know if that would work and I am already too old and I don't want to be behind in my life. sorry for this long post but really need so advice. Thank you

let me tell you, u aint the only one. I'm also 20, did a 1 year gap year and then an access course in engineering thinking that I wanted to do engineering. As soon as I got to uni this year I knew this wasn't what I wanted to do. So I dropped out last week and am going through the ucas application again . You always feel left behind when you compare yourself to your peers. But let me tell you, its better to have these doubts now than when your 2-3 years into the course and indebt having regret. Take this year out to find out ur interest and explore more into programming and see how you feel about it. Recently I've come to the decision that I enjoy finance a lot more and am suited towards that field

Thank you soo much, I feel soo much better knowing I am the only one feeling this way. I actually do programming as a hobby but I never thought I was good enough to consider it as a career and I still don't so that's why I want to go into it business as it's such a broad field. I know I shouldn't compare but knowing that people my age would be getting graduate jobs when I start uni is going to be really hard on me.

perhaps theres a sandwich course for both computer science and business. If not try thinking where in business you'd like to specialise in or have an interest. Computer science is good since you've had experience with it. what interests you in business?

I think I want or would like to be a data analyst in the future because I really like the research part of the job and it involves computer programming as well but not too much and I think business management kind of combines everything and gives me a lot to work with.

the thing is I don't have maths, computer science or business a levels at all, so for me, it's going to be much harder getting into those programs and even if I do(foundation year) what if I don't do well and just end up failing then I would be an even bigger failure, the degree I am doing seems like a really safe option even if I don't like it that much. I really don't know.
