why does it bother me male friends watch p*rn?

i’m a female and i have multiple guy friends and it really bothers me and makes me feel ick when i know they watch p*rn and j*rk off to it.

i don’t watch it myself as i use imagination for that. But it genuinely angers me when i think about them watching it.

why is this? i wish i didn’t care. How can i stop caring?

I'm more curious as to why you're asking them if they watch porn and bat one out to it? Its not usually something that randomly comes up in conversation...
Either way, not entirely certain you have anyu business 'getting angry' at them for doing something that is both perfectly legal and harms no one.

On not caring? Stop talking to them about it i guess? At least then you wont have any reason to trigger thoughts about it. If you're constantly imagining your friends ******* to porn other than them talking about it then theres likely a deeper problem here..
Why do you find it uncomfortable? What is the difference between watching porn and using your imagination; surely they both register on the same level?
Can’t tell if trolling or not but in short. What’s it got to do with you what they do in their spare time?

Maybe it’s because a fair proportion of it is vile. I guess don’t talk to them about it, it’s unlikely they’ll see your point of view.
Probably because you have no interest in porn and find some or all of the content disgusting.
You may also have negative perceptions of some elements of the porn industry.
Using ur imagination is worse than porn 🤣

Have you never heard the quote to the effect that what we are when we're alone is what we really are?

So I don't blame OP at all for feeling apprehensive about being surrounded by all those porn addicts, if that's the case. She can easily figure out how they must be looking at her and as it were mentally playing out those porn fantasies with her in the place of the actress....

You care and it makes you angry because p*rn has been found to have serious effects on people which can also be long term. It adds to the objectification and sexualisation of women, especially young women and there have been cases where people have uploaded videos of underage children, r*pe videos and a lot of the content is violent. Your worry for your friends is rational and understandable. Watching p*rn can ruin real life expectations and imagination.

Your moral compass must be pretty flipping broken if you’re seeing a platonic friend that way.

A lot of women don't want their boyfriends looking at porn so maybe you deep down have feeling for them.
