Personal statement question

Is it okay to use “you” in my personal statement? I have only used it twice in the conclusion.
I suppose you can. But, I recommend talking to a tutor regarding this.
Wish you all the best.

I don’t have one😔 that’s why I’m asking here.
I think it depends on how the sentences are phrased

In what context?

Like “I can promise you that I am …..” and “that I will…. at your course”

You could avoid 'you'. For example:

If I am able to study (whatever subject it is) at degree level (or at university) then I ..

So use the course name rather than 'your course'.

I personally wouldn't put 'I can promise..' if this is what you are thinking of doing.

You should generally avoid addressing the admissions tutors directly

Oh I see. I would strongly advise against doing that tbh! I would phrase it how @Cote1 said in their comment. Good luck.
We were advised against using "you" in PS during our session on "dos and don't" in personal statements with the tutor and I did see the same advice in print somewhere.
