So I am applying to Habs boys and have an interview soon. Is anyone else applying and if so how are they revising.

You're talking about the boys 6th form interview, right? I am applying too yep! Got my interview tomorrow.

I am revising by just getting completely up do date with the topics. How about you? Which subjects are you applying for?

Oh alright. I am applying for maths, further maths, computing and economics. I have kept up to date with computing and econ for a while tbh so i have just been consolidating. I am working on some maths stuff tonight as I presume the further maths interview will be the toughest. Do you know how many people are applying for 16+ this year?

I have no clue you're the only one who responded. I did the MTS test as well and there were around 40ish pupils. Do you have insta so its easier to talk?

Yeah I got one for but I am probably rejecting it. I am currently aiming for oxbridge and I have a higher chance of acceptance via state schools so I am either gonna stay at my current school or go to another state schl. Congrats on your offer tho!

good luck with your oxbridge applications. However at habs they do have a specialist for oxbridge and medicine applicants which is why I think I’d have a higher chance of getting in .

Most schools have specialists - even average state schools like my current one! Although, HABS presumably has a specialist with greater experience and expertise then my current schl. However, grammar schools are a really good middle way as they have highly-skilled specialists and are still state so imo overall I have a much higher chance at a grammar state school; I get great support and I am still in the state school quota which increases chances of acceptance. You do have a very valid point tho so I wish you luck!!

For HABS Boys, I think 10 offers were given out and I think everyone usually accepts it because receiving an offer itself is incredibly tough and the schl is very prestigious so it's basically too good to refuse for most lol.
