Can I suspend my study at uni for one month?

That depends on the reason, and whether you would be able to re-join the course a month later and catch up on everything you've missed. Things like deadlines might be the main issue.

Why do you want/need to suspend for a month?

Probably not, they'll tell you to redo the year.

Hello

I think this would be a discussion you'd have to have with your university. I would advise speaking to your personal tutor about this as they will know the ins and outs of your university's policy regarding this.

Hope this helps!

No you cannot suspect your studies for 1 month. Unis can grant 'academic suspension' for a year but not for a month. Think about it, if you stop your studies for a few weeks then you will be playing catch up wrt assignments and exams and this will impact your S2 studies - when again you will ask for a 1 months suspension. Its easier for the uni to defer you for a year.
I doubt it. You’ll probably have to defer the entire year, as others have already stated
