can I get a 2:1 overall

If I got 49% on my second year which is a 3rd in psychology can I get a 2:1 overall?
Would have thought so? Mathematically you need to know what eating iis given to each year. If 50-50 then you’d need 71% average to get 60% overall and get a 2.1.

But it will depend on how they work it out -mine e was number of results at each class. However there is also the issue of can you get 72% average for your modules when you are currently 49%? Do you know why you have got those marks? Have you got 70s 70s for anything?

(Updates as it’s 71% not 61%)

Depends on your universities classification methodology, if its 50/50 you would need 71 if its 66/33 you would need around the 66 mark.

These are very get able grades, the difficult problem you’ll have is addressing why you got 49, and moving your work to the required standards for your grade.

how motivated are you for a 2.1...

65.5 average needed this year if y2 is 60 creds (1/3) and y3 is 120 creds (2/3). Call it 66.

From what I calculated it showed 64 average in all my modules next year to get 60.5

(180/120) x (60 - (60/180)x49) = 65.5

I see, what “we” inferred from your earlier posts was the was 3rd/2nd year weighting was 120/60, what you meant was you take your best 60 credits and evenly weight them with your top 120 final year credits.
