What Do You Think of My Poem?

Not unlike a young girl in flower, Oh spoken
Of bosom bone! Beautiful like
A recitation, I witnessed & I waited.
I am the amour of my friend.

Oh somber winged caveman! Coming to fruition.
Oh yelping of an age-old Indian redskin! To
Stone, a Grim Reaper's sickle, from grandeur coming,
I am the one who scatters stars...

Bestowed upon me, by heaven pierced, anima
Omega; repeopled by her.
Oh playing the drums! Made up out
Of dreams, a boat; an hour magical stroked by it.

I’ve got controversial taste but a few I really like are Wilfred Owen, carol Ann Duffy and Simon Armitage. Who are your favorites?

Oh wow, those are really cool choices, I've read poems by all of them, although I don't remember the names. I like Paul Valery!

I’ll name my favorites by each of them just in case you know them, Dulce et Decorum est, Medusa, and Mother any distance.
I like Paul Valery, if I remember correctly he wrote the faux death

I'm going to read all the poems you named!

And yeah he did, his style's really cerebral and he has great technique. Wilfred Owen's really really talented as well.

You should!

He sounds good, I think I’ll read some more of his work. I find Wilfred Owen astonishing, unfortunate about his untimely death, how much more he could have given!

Tea of a pigcup, on the beach
Of a Cornishman, a single mottled drop of
Sperm, running by its spine a river, was, flotsam
Of an enbeaud nature; of things

To come an enjoiner.
