Whos going to replace all the unvaccinated NHS staff?

The Department of Health estimates that more than 200,000 NHS workers remain unvaccinated (with 103,000 unvaccinated trust workers and 105,000 domiciliary care workers, according to figures given to the House of Lords Secondary Legislation Scrutiny Committee on November 25). It is not known how many agency staff are unvaccinated.




These people are going to be fired next year. They worked through the worst of the pandemic, while unvaccinated and survived. Why are they considered a threat to patients, when we all know vaccinated people are spreading the virus ?

Bad outdated science.

I remember when they claimed you'd get the vaccine, it would stop the spread of coruse if that was the case then why have so many of the highest vaccinated countries also have record breaking cases? you still get the virus inside you, and pass it on just milder.

but suddenly these people have developed an ideological opposition being vaccinated

It's almost as if they're not against vaccinations but against this particular "vaccine"...

Why does covid vaccine get the "scare quotes" treatment

Because nobody is getting heart attacks, dropping dead, suffering side effects or getting the thing it's meant to be protecting against from other vaccinations.

People get side effects from other vaccines.

Extreme example, In the USA they've got people in the navy who were required to have the anthrax vaccine when they enlisted (which is much worse for side effects than the covid vaccines) getting booted out cos they now refuse the covid vaccine.

Seems like a load of dimwits who think they've got a better idea about how vaccines and the immune system works than people who've spent their lives studying these things.

Vaccinated people are spreading the virus but so are unvaccinated people spreading the virus. The difference is some people are getting vaccinated to limit the damage covid does to them which means they are less likely personally to get hospitalised and less likely to need to take a long time off work.

They won't all get fired next year - most will choose to get vaccinated when they can see it benefits them financially (keeping their job) the same way a lot more care home staff got vaccinated when it became a requirement of them keeping their jobs.

The other issue is that a lot of NHS workers are minorities, also the group that have the least amount of vaccine take up in the entire country.

I know a lot are minorities and some minority groups have a low take up of the covid vaccine. But that doesn't change anything. If it's a good idea for staff to get vaccinated to protect themselves and to reduce staff absenteeism which impacts upon patient care, then it's a good idea for all staff

And the people that spend their entire lives studying it suddenly believe they’re political dictators

It’s not just about money though it’s about trust and minorities trust the vaccines the least

And of course they're completely incorruptible and haven't repeatedly been wrong, nor attempted to silence dissenting voices.
