What type of consultant job should I explore?

Hello.

As a career, I am quite keen on the idea of being a consultant, however I am unsure what kind of consultancy I should explore to tailor to my interests:
- I am an MFL student, so love to speak foreign languages and would like a job that would allow me to communicate in these languages.
- I would like a job that allows me to travel regularly, but is (ideally) based in England.

With this in mind, what kind of UK consultant is best suited to me?

Any ideas please share!

Recruitment consultancy for the higher managerial roles in large corporations.
Interesting- what are the kinds of people one would employ? (ie. Other consultants etc…)
They employ all kinds of people from accountants, law graduates, language specialists. It all depends on the area in which the recruitment consultant specialises.

That sounds really interesting! Any websites with further details you can recommend?

I'm no longer living in the U.K so am a bit out of the loop but you could look at this for starters

But from looking at your first post I would try to avoid the high street temp agencies, although they offer a good grounding in basic recruitment, and look more for the larger executive search type of recruitment consultants.

Thank you - I think I may email some companies to ask about work life directly!
