Hi does anyone know what this camera is for?

This looks like it is used to catch uninsured drivers.

Motorways have cameras on bridges also to catch them, aswell as to catch speeding drivers.

Might be for monitoring traffic.

For speeding don’t they have to catch you over a certain length? From camera to camera?

Over the legal mph on that road then those will snap you doing it.

But it is for catching specific things too though. One type of camera scans cars to check car insurance. This is APNR type.

These are called Speedspikes, like the Vector cameras, can be deployed as average speed check cameras.
