Clearing Help! (Nottingham Sport Rehabilitation)

Dont know specifically about this course but if they have rejected you they are not likely to accept you in clearing. For whatever reason they dont like your application enough to make you an offer. There is nothing you can other than move on.

Most leading universities didnt have spaces in clearing last year and if they do this year it will be for courses that arent popular. I suspect the chances of you getting into places like Loughborough, Exeter and Bath for sports degrees this year will be zero or very close to it. These are flagship universities and unlikely to have these courses in clearing.

Your options will be to accept one of these courses, reject all and apply to another university through extra or clearing or withdraw and reapply next year with actual grades. Just be aware that even if you decide to reapply next year there is no guarantee any of your preferred choices will accept you. The likes of these are very competitive in the area you are looking to study.

What you can do now is to check ucas course search for the subject you are interested in and filter for show only universities with vacancies. This will tell you who has vacancies that you can apply to. Anyone not having vacancies now is unlikely to have vacancies in clearing. You then ring the university concerned to check they sill have vacancies before applying.

My situation is that I have received all 5 options from UCAS and that got 4 options back successfully where 2 are unconditional offers.
Nottingham (rejection), Keele and Essex (conditional), Derby and Lincoln (unconditional)

So being oblivious as I am, I was hoping to get into Nottingham for Sport Rehabilitation and didn't want to go anywhere else. However I got rejected due to my predicted grades being too low (ABC) where the course asked for (ABB). I am thinking of just firming Lincoln as it is unconditional but I don't really want to study sport therapy anywhere else than Nottingham University, otherwise I would just switch courses like Sport and Exercise Science to a better University.
Having my lessons online I was experiencing tough times with studies therefore my predicted was so low (ABC), however during my recent mocks I've shown that i can achieve greater grades (A*,A,C).

So I'd like to ask if anyone know information about Sport Rehabilitation at Uni of Nottingham, as in have there been spaces in clearing during the last few years.
What you would do in my situation?
Would going to an top 50 university affect the job employment?
How many good sport universities (Loughborough, Nottingham, Exeter, Bath) will give many spaces for clearing.

First thing:

You will need to be more open minded about where you go to university, its never worthwhile getting stuck on one institution as it may not happen, so I would really recommends trying to widen your views on other unis (even if you dont end up their).

And I would firm the university you most want to go to that you have an offer from.

If on results day you have the grades I would call up Nottingham and ask if their is space, and see if they would take you (afterwards you would then need to reject your offer and re-apply via clearing but id contact them first to see if their is space as no point giving up a spot for a shot at Notts if their are no spaces available...).

You need to be prepared for Nottingham NOT being an option.

You should make contingency plans for a couple scenarios, 1) you exceed grades and dont get a spot you want in clearing 2) you meet your grades 3) you miss
-would you want to go into clearing/re-apply next year... think through the permutations is ADVANCE of results day so you dont panic whatever happens.

-Also focus on your A-levels, grind out the last couple weeks of exams (you have time to figure all this out, once they are over). Good luck!

Are you allowed to ring up a university after results day to see if they have space for a course even you are still haven't declined your offer to go to clearing. Because what would you do if they say there is a space but found out you arent in clearing yet?

Also say i have chose my firm as my unconditional, am i allowed to decline it after results day to go into clearing?
