Good action movies to watch?

Something that you think is a gem of an action movie.
I just need something to pass the time.
Kill Bill Vol.1 and maybe Vol.2. The first film is better. The most The Fast and Furious parts has to be named in any case, and for the Vin Diesel fanboys and girls xXx - Triple X is a must have. And some Batman films of course! The Dark Knight and Batman Begins are the best ones ever made! and the John Wick part 1 and 2 (the third film was not my business). Both funny Deadpool films are worth to give a go and The Wolverine is the best X-Men film ever made.

Those are my recommendations for you.

hunger games
maze runner
The Batman
Mission Impossible saga
Bourne movies
Heres a list of my favorite action movies
1. The Batman Saga
2. James Bond Casino Royale
3. Taken
4. John Wick
5. The man from U.N.C.L.E
Nobody has mentioned any of the following franchises so far:

Die Hard (I love the first 4 but I hated number 5)
Terminator (the only one out of 6 movies that I didn't like is number 4 - Salvation)
Rambo (the first 4 are the best, number 5 is ok)
Transporter (the first 3 starring Jason Statham are miles better than the reboot from 2015 starring Ed Skrein)
Kingsman
Dirty Harry
Rush Hour
Beverly Hills Cop
Ip Man
The Raid
Expendables (3 great movies and number 4 is on the way later this year!)
Bad Boys
The Equalizer
Rocky
Mad Max (Mel Gibson's movies were great and Tom Hardy's Fury Road needs no mention)
Lethal Weapon (4 movies and number 5 is on the way in the next few years!)
Robocop (the old franchise from the 80's plus a remake from 2014)
Olympus Has Fallen + 2 sequels (and a 3rd on the way)
Jurassic Park and Jurassic World (6 movies in total)
Tomb Raider (2 starring Angelina Jolie plus the reboot from 2018 starring Alicia Vikander)
Mortal Kombat (the 2 from the 90's didn't have good reviews but the reboot from 2021 is miles better)
Transformers (5 movies plus the Bumblebee spinoff from 2018)
Alien (the first 3 movies are the best, not the Alien Vs. Predator ones that came after)

Also lots of the best martial arts movies qualify for good action:

(Jet Li): Romeo Must Die, Cradle 2 The Grave, The One, Kiss of the Dragon, Unleashed, Fist of Legend, Once Upon A Time In China
(JCVD): Kickboxer, Bloodsport, Hard Target, Double Impact, Lionheart, Sudden Death, Death Warrant
(Jackie Chan): Who Am I, Mr Nice Guy, Police Story, Rumble In The Bronx, The Foreigner, First Strike, Drunken Master

(Jason Statham): Safe, Homefront, Crank 1 and 2, The Meg, The Mechanic 1 and 2, The Italian Job

British action movies/dramas: Green Street, Snatch, Lock Stock And Two Smoking Barrels, The Gentlemen, Kidulthood, Adulthood, Brotherhood, The Football Factory, This Is England, Layer Cake, RocknRolla, Blue Story

Boxing/MMA/UFC: Warrior, Southpaw, Undisputed, Never Back Down, Bleed For This, Raging Bull, Ali, Bruised

Prison dramas: Bronson, Starred Up, Mean Machine, Shot Caller, Escape Plan, The Shawshank Redemption, The Great Escape

Gangster dramas: The Godfather, The Untouchables, Goodfellas, Casino, The Irishman, Scarface, Carlito's Way, A Bronx Tale, The Departed, American Gangster, Heat, Road To Perdition, Lawless, Eastern Promises, Gangster Squad, Black Mass, Donnie Brasco, The Drop, Training Day, A History of Violence, American History X, Good Time, A Man Apart

War movies: Saving Private Ryan, Apocalypse Now, Pearl Harbour, American Sniper, Jarhead, The Hurt Locker, Zero Dark Thirty, Green Zone, Dunkirk, Hacksaw Ridge, Fury, Inglorious Basterds, The Last Samurai, Blood Diamond, 300, Troy

Sci-fi action: Inception, Interstellar, Event Horizon, Sunshine, The Martian, Star Trek (the JJ Abrams franchise), Tenet, Gemini Man, Bloodshot, Rampage, Geostorm, Greenland, Gamer, Blade Runner 1 and 2, Oblivion, I Robot, Race To Witch Mountain

Other mentions: Nobody, Midnight Run, Con Air, Face/Off, The Rock, The Fugitive, US Marshals, Red Notice, Extraction, The Old Guard, The Tomorrow War, Unknown, Run All Night, The A-Team, Triple Frontier, The Accountant, Triple 9, Man On Fire, The Taking of Pelham 123, Deja Vu, The Negotiator, Sicario, Walking Tall, Fight Club, Top Gun 1 and 2

Hindi movies: for a separate discussion.

The Batman
Mission Impossible saga
Bourne movies

The new one has the darkest atmosphere ever, even though I think that the action in the film is decent.

The dark tone adds to it. Best superhero movie ever imo
Can’t believe no one has mentioned Nobody. A great action film that felt like a return of proper beat-em-up films where the main hero isn’t a walking tank and actually gets his arse kicked but wins through pure rage. Actually enjoyed watching it, and was a great break from the monotony of superhero films. Definitely recommended!!

Mentioned it already mate

I agree it's a great film. Similar vein to John Wick so anyone who likes movies with brutal fight choreography will enjoy this too.

Agreed. Only the first one with Keanu Reeves (it's amazing). Not the sequel though - that was rubbish.

I'd also suggest Top Gun and the sequel Top Gun: Maverick. I'd go as far as to say the sequel is better than the original - it's that good.

Yes. Go watch Maverick in cinemas. I haven’t been compelled to watch watch a movie in cinema again since the Batman. Which isn’t saying much, but it shows what a good era of movies we are having

At least one of the best Batman film. Dark Knight is still better and still unrivaled.

I saw Maverick in the cinema a few weeks ago and I'm very happy I did. When Tom Cruise said this movie is made for cinemas, he wasn't joking. I should have gone a step up and watched it in IMAX - that was a missed opportunity.

The Batman was great in the cinema too. Planning to watch it a second time at home in 4K.
