I'm going over my notes as well as PMT notes, then doing topic questions and past papers. But if you don't want to read notes you can always watch Allery Chemistry's videos on YouTube. I think he's great for revision!

I think it's quite hard to predict what's going to come up for paper 3 but whatever is on the AI is definitely going to come up so it'd be good to have a good understanding of those topics. But rn my main focus is paper 2 for tomorrow so when I revise for paper 3 I'll let you know my predictions

yeh ofcourse we would have a better idea for sure
My predictions:

Topic 5: Formulae, Equations and Amounts of Substance:
-Preparing a standard solution
-Titration (could be linked to Topic 14)

Topic 12: Acid-Base Equilibria:
-Finding Ka for a weak acid

Topic 16: Kinetics II:
-Following the progress of a reaction by withdrawing, quenching and titrating samples

Topic 13B: Entropy:
-Possibly using ΔG = -RTlnK and/or ΔG = ΔH - TΔS(sys)

Topic 14: Redox II:
-Redox titration (could be linked to the Topic 5 part)
-Calculating Ecell

Topic 17B: Carbonyl Compounds:
-2,4-DNPH and Tollens’ tests

Topic 18C: Organic Synthesis:
-Preparation of aspirin
-5 to 7 mark question about preparing an organic compound in 2 to 3 steps.

Topic 4A: Groups 1 and 2:
-Thermal decomposition
-Colours from flame tests (procedure is unlikely as they haven’t stated on the AI that core practical 7 is coming up)

Topic 19B: Nuclear Magnetic Resonance:
-Determining the structure of the product from an organic synthesis.
After how paper 1 and 2 has gone, only this paper can save me now😩 Let the cramming begin

Same here. I'd be chuffed if I got 30 marks in today's paper. Going to need like 80 for p3 to scrape my conditional grade.

Yeah I will just in case because it could come up even though it's not on the AI
Does anyone have any predictions on whether TMs will pop up?

They could. Possibly colours because of the redox stuff

That's a good point, thanks!

Also entropy changes of the system and ligand substitution
