unis and ucas

so I'm kinda panicked now about the ucas process and unis, does anyone have any advice about researching which are the best uni courses and unis in general to prepare for applying to university?

The best uni is the one that provides the course you are interested in and is in a place you would be happy to live for three years.

Use any of the following websites to search for courses:

https://www.whatuni.com/
https://www.ucas.com/
https://www.thecompleteuniversityguide.co.uk/courses

If you're unsure what to study, try this site:

If you've not do so already, start looking at Open Days and visit as many as you can before you apply:

How to Avoid 5 Rejections - tips and advice about making appications - https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/university/apply/how-to-avoid-getting-five-university-rejections

And go to some Open Days in July and September - good calendar here with links to Uni booking pages - https://www.opendays.com/calendar/
Book yourself in for some of the subject presentations - pick a few different subjects at each Uni for a range of subjects that interest you and do the Campus tours - you'll start to get the grips with what Uni is all about and what you need to think about when choosing. Its also worth having a loo on YouTube for campus toursetc if you can't get to that Uni.
I love What uni? too Norma. its a great one to find courses, unis, reviews, entrance grades, module breakdowns etc.

Always double check on the individual Uni website - WhatUni doesnt have full entry requirements or the information about 'required' or 'preferred' subjects, or if there are any required GCSEs etc,

Most definitely check direct on the uni's site. To see them all listed on one website when your first starting to look its a pretty good starting point. We found unis we never even thought about
