Lol, in the brief time I left TSR you guys are now substituting barbell exercises for machines. This is worse than the London riots.

I've never been against machine excercises. I just don't think they should ever replace basic barbell stuff. It's a supplement, like dumbells.

I haven't even got a job and I'm finding it difficult to find time at the moment to go to the gym! I'm going to try and get there today, though

    Haven't updated as banned.

Updates: Dips up to 24kg, 3x6, still pretty easy. Chins went a bit backwards, only managed 3x5 when I was supposed to be getting 3x8. Need to sort them out. Mil press 60 3x8. Front squats went a bit crap, back started feeling bad so had to stop at 3 reps and left it there Not sure what to do regarding squatting now

Looking good bro, keep it up :yy:

Have you tried box squats, sitting back might help, I know its worked for many others, your more knowledgeable than me in these things so you might have already done so, just my two cents.

Yeah job hunting is a ***** these days, but don't give up, best way is to continuously start pestering recruitment agencies so they know you by name and to get rid of you have to hook you up with some work

Box squats won't really be any different, plus the point in doing fronties was to target the quads more and try and ease it off the back - box squats would do the opposite.

I still haven't been to any recruitment agencies, I don't see the point in this city as all the jobs they get they put online anyway, so I just apply that way. Perhaps I'm wrong

As in relative to your bench, or just relative to being strong in general?
