3-4 raw marks....your worried about losing three or four marks only?....come on, some people are crying they lose 20 or more marks, how do you think they feel?
No, I was happy with my results, I'm just a perfectionist XD

Wooo! I'm with OCR too! Is it OCR A or OCR B? :beard: Maybe you find it easier cos you enjoy it more? :K: :P
Aww, 2 points away from A*! , I'm sure you will
Thanks but nowhere near the standards you've set though
    It's A I think, it's not the 'advancing physics' one :P you?
haha, it is practically the same really and it doesn't matter, people only look at the actual grade if that makes any sense ;D

That's very true! I don't understand why someone wouldn't love maths
I know loads of people that say they hate maths, and I think it's just because they don't understand it, I think if schools made it more accessible at school and more interesting more people would like it :P

Yeah, I think a lot of teachers have completely the wrong approach towards teaching maths, they should show how fun it really is! My secondary school was really good at teaching maths and it's interesting that loads of people from there that are now at my college are taking A level maths Maths is the best :3

yeah I was quite lucky at school cause I had a really good teacher, and she made people like maths, but the rest of the teachers aren't really that good :P
I'm guessing your school must've been really good for maths, I think hardly anyone from my year chose to do maths XD

Well I was in top set for everything (except PE) so I got all of the good teachers, I think some of the other teachers weren't too good, but I wouldn't say any teachers from my school were awful, sadly the same can't be said for at my college XD Maths is the only A level I'm doing that I haven't hated at some point

Yh go for Mechanics! :awesome: Trust me 83 in C4 is easily doable if you've got the capacity to get 97 in C3! Might need to tutor me next year haha. Either way you've obviously secured your firm since you've got an A in Geog already , so it's not like you need an insurance

Alright enjoy studying about the ocean!
Cheers, hopefully I can do it, I'm finding C4 quite good at the moment! C3 isn't too bad apart from all the trig identities, I hated those.

Yeah, I realised that about my choices a couple of days ago, I literally can't get onto the insurance course because both require an A in Biology, and if I get that, I'm automatically on the firm I don't know why I bothered putting an insurance down

    And thanks

Yep that's A, I also do the 'normal' one . So I'm guessing the exam you sat was Newtonian World!? :awesome:
Yh yh , it's just the better you do in earlier units the less you would need in the later units to get whatever grade like how you only need a C

Those are my favorite , especially C3 ones

That's good, FP2/FP3 should also provide you with extra ammunition
    Spoiler:

my maths teacher said you can use FP2&FP3 techniques in a C4 exam to make it easier :ninja:

Is also makes me wonder why you took up two slots for the same uni. I mean you can't love Southampton that much can you?

These FP2/3 techniques for C4 intrigue me, I assume they will become clear to me after doing the whole of both courses

Picked Southampton because it's the best in England for marine biology (some will say Plymouth but I personally wouldn't agree, I did apply there as well). There are some great Scottish unis for the subject but I don't want to travel that far The facilities at Southampton are really good, the National Oceanography Centre is brilliant.

i love all my A levels!
i do english lit, history and sociology. History has to be my favourite lesson because i have an awesome teacher, english my favourite to study because i love the course structure and all the reading and Sociology is the most interesting one. After doing my sociology As i decided to change my course from International Relations and Politics to Anthropology with Politics. So sociology definitely had a huge role to play in my future. Had drama last year as well which absolutely adored and was reluctant to drop. Not that A levels are easy and history and english have certainly been a challenge, but having a genuine interest in your A levels defo makes a difference...
