Ah, you must know of the garden centre at Tong? I used to go there all the time - I remember that they had a full sized wooden model of a motorbike. I think it was for sale - carrying quite a heavy price tag!

It is strange how areas which are fairly close can experience such different weather. Another peculiarity is the ability for some areas to escape almost all extreme weather. Where I live for instance hardly sees any extremes in weather - except warm weather, where we do quite well!

Lucky really.
Yeah, i lived about 5 minutes away. I briefly worked there until i quit as i did not fancy trolley pushing.

Things you will need.

* Extra supplies of milk and digestives :cookie:
There is no need to warn me. I am already tucked up in a thick layer of milk and digestives and am feeling no signs of the cold. I hope others will learn from this

Did you buy chocolate digestives? I wouldn't like to think of you spending lots on ordinary digestives. That way at least you would have got something positive out of the false emergency.

I feel the same. :yep: Except for me, only plain chocolate digestives are really acceptable. The original and authentic brand, not some supermarket own brand ripoff. Only that particular taste really comforts me. :cookie:

I know what you mean, tesco value chocolate digestive are so crumbly and pathetic. McVities <3 Unfortunately the only biscuits we have in at the moment are ginger nuts, and I'm not a fan ):

I get really annoyed with this country when it comes to snow. Everything stops when we don't get anything extreme anyway. I used to like snow but now I hate it because I know it puts everything on hold.

When you hate snow that's the sign you're leaving your childhood behind

Heavy snow warnings issued for 200m+ this evening (Yorkshire and the North East).

This is a village at about 150m at the North York Moors..

I've got a jumper/hoodie from a university summer school which I got for free. I'm wearing that over a shirt, full length dungarees with tights and a thick jumper and a coat and a hat and going to get me gloves. But.... I still don't feel prepared.
