You basically summed up what life was like for me up until the age of 20. Every guy wanted to be my friend, call me at 3 am and cry over the gold digger who ****ed him per whilst I'm doing his homework, folding his laundry and cooking his dinner. 'Nice Girl Syndrome' exists too. Often Nice Girl (who is actually really attractive but sexually repressed and taught that rating her own appearance rather than relying on the judgement of other people is arrogance) grows frustrated and decides to be that skanky ***** that all the guys seem to want to date. Being nice is too much like hard work and you are left alone, abused and manipulated in the end.

I was right on the cusp of saying 'whats the point of being a good girl' if guys are put off by lack of sexual experience and seem to only want *****es. I was for a while, the hot girl that all the guys drooled after and the girls hated, but it didn't make me happy.

Until I met a Nice Guy/White Knight online. He was the person *I* cried to at 3 am over guys who wouldn't date me. Then I realised I was putting him the same position I had been. Mr Beta. Was too shy to actually ask me out but he was obviously a wonderful person, so I took a bus to the other side of the country and ****ed the **** out of him.

He is the nice guy (with a big ****) ****ing the nice girl (with curves and a freaky in the bedroom side) It can happen.

The problem is that arrogant *******s (alphas) take advantage of nice girls with no self esteem who cling to them for some fleeting feeling of self-worth and being desired. They leech off of it. She'll be your slut because she's desperate to keep you, as you say, but she doesn't want to be thought of as a whore if she doesn't absolutely need to pull out all the stops. Why keep banging a girl when you known she is only sucking your **** because she is scared not to? I've been there! Pulled out every sexy costume for a misogynist ass because I thought it was the only way is have an illusion of being wanted. But I hated it. It felt dirty and wrong.

Money grabbing shallow *****es do the same with nice guys who are equally doormat-like and provide said ***** with stability.

The nice girls and nice guys are too shy/insecure to ask eachother out and end up in the arms of their polar opposites for some tripped feeling of validation, or 'man up'/'stab up for themselves to become the sort of person who stole their date that one time.

People just need to be nice, period, and date eachother. You don't need to be a *****y slut to survive or a doormat virgin whose husband is out with hookers. You don't need to be a bench pressing, rich, bedroom-conquering alpha beast to protect yourself emotionally nor the guy described above who can never muster the courage to ask a girl out either.

There can be a MIDDLE GROUND. There need not be this Win/Lose Alpha/Nice Guy *****/Nice Girl thing.

Nice guys ASK HER OUT. You may get rejected but you may end up being the guy she sleeps with instead of crying to about the ******* she slept with.

Nice girls ask him out. Yes you might be branded a slut (even if you havent actually slept with anyone) and you feel unattractive and rejected but one day a nice guy will appreciate you .

*******s/*****es stop playing on people's insecurities and making the nice guys/girls feel like there is something inherently wrong with them for being nice! If you are nice there is no issue ordained of being walked all over if your partner is equally nice. If not it is they who have the problem and perpetuate this cycle that makes people go to extremes of doormat-ness and asshattery.
This is magnificent. The last five paragraphs should be emblazoned onto about a hundred stupid threads that have been started in the last few weeks.

I feel someone ought to set it to inspirational music.

I'm sorry I can only rep this once.

The pill increased mine. I was like, "Come on, it's high enough already!"

Not much. I think I remember you saying it helps get rid of headaches for you though. At least I think it was you...
