Yeah, I don't know how some people think sometimes, especially not his.
You're welcome I hope you don't end up like the people on the show,
you'll be able to fit right in (if you're worried)
haha aww thanks he will learn one day that it probably wasn't the best of things to say on national television and I promise I wont end up like them. they do give some insight towards student life but I suppose I just want to just do my degree and make the best out of it

No worries, yeah hopefully. Haha, some thing tells me that he wasn't given much attention when he was younger or maybe he's insecure, he doesn't need to do these things to be well known.
Yes, some parts of it is accurate - getting wasted and stuff anyway, but as long as you're sensible and know your priorities, it'll be okay.
Aww, well if you say so, I hope you get in and make the best of your time there. <3333

I found the first episode funny when Josie goes I must be ugly because everyone has pulled and I haven't..well something along those lines. I was like are you kidding me? Gemma came across as being obsessed with her boyfriend since all she ever did was ring or text him. Aidan thought too much of himself, hassan's was just an idiot because he came across as being so lazy and Brenda never put that phone down, she came across to me as a b****. Tanya I found inspirational for a lot of young mothers because she came across as being one of the only members who was actually mature and wasn't concerned about partying.

To me it was a secret. I had absolutely no idea that things that happened on the show actually happen at uni. So it was definitely an eye opener to naive people like me. I really wish the program continues.

    3 episodes was not enough

Did anyone else think that the show actually portrayed uni in a worse light than it is IRL?

Tbh no, could've been worse. They forgot to show all the middle class kids getting off their faces and doing drugs

Regardless, it's not escapism. I thought the show was going to glamourise uni but instead it made me a bit sick seeing the so-called "student experience".

    Yeah, agreed.
Wasn't bad actually, I'm not a drinker or someone who likes clubbing so I joined lots of societies and met people through there. I say make the most of it as second year is when things get serious xD

Yeah, I did I only have a tiny bit of regret, and that's spending more time working than socializing. It's not hard to get over 40% if I'm being honest.
But I'm sure you'll enjoy it thank you!

It is, yes. But to be honest, freshers should just be laid back and then get their act together later on. Hopefully we will
It was nice talking to you <3

Haha, well it'll be pretty simple, as long as you get a 2:1 or above, I'd say you're doing a good job On second thought, I should just add you now xD
