Man City are the bigger club. When was the last time United beat them?

I just hope it doesnt get worse . A huge loss would destroy our confidence.

I would say considering the circumstances, 1-0 at 65 minutes is pretty decent.

At least you can laugh at us on Tuesday when we visit Madrid...

Doesn't matter, because within three games they'll be injured again. The first batch get injured, we rush the second batch back from injury to replace the first batch, the second batch then get injured so we rush the first batch back... repeat ad infinitum.
LVG better have some defenders in mind to buy in Jan, United can't carry on like this till the end of the season if they want 4th place. At least you're only playing one game a week, it would have been 10x worse for the defence if you were in the Europa league.

He has one year left on his contract and Real Madrid need a goalkeeper. I think he's off, hence the interest in Valdes.
yup, makes sense, though Valdes isn't half bad so wouldn't be as upset if we get him in, mind you neither can make up for the ****ing ****stain that is our defending.

tempted to just go back to bed, just a question of how many this match now for City, I'd rather sleep than go through more of our defending today, not feeling great anyway.

What's worse is that apart from Di Maria we have absolutely no pace on the counter

Could really do with a welbeck sort of player right now

I hope Smalling never plays for United again after costing us the game like this. Let him rot in the reserves until January and then sell him back to Fulham.

Feeling so depressed at work. If Smalling had stayed on, maybe we could have nicled a point or something.

Oh well on to next week i guess.

Anyone else slightly concerned at how poor Di Maria has been in the past two games?

He's 24, an England international yet he still struggles to defend to a competent level. **** it cba being patriotic, get rid of the English bunch.

Sell off Evans and Smalling. Bring in one top CB and leave Rojo and Blackett as our backups. Jones and a top CB as our defensive pairing. If Jones still cant prove his fitness from now til January then get rid of him aswell.

Would love us to go for Laporte and inigo Martinez

More mistakes from LVG playing him in a wider role when he was playing so well through the middle

Not really tbh. He was bad against Chelsea but against City you cant blame him. He was okay before Smalling's sending off. But this game he is running himself into the ground as he has more defensive duties.

I expect him to run riot next week.
