lol you mus be a member of photographic memory gang with what you are saying
Not really, my subjects (chem, Physics and further Maths) I just understand after teacher has taught it, don't need to revise because it's just conceptual and common sense

It's only definitions and that you need to learn

That's Bs

If that was the case then that means I do no revision

Reading is revising
I stand by my statement, if I was to simply read my 300 pages of physics notes for this semester I would remember probably 30% of it and be able to apply 0% of it

Errmm...Its no different to rewriting notes.you just repeat in your head as opposed to paper.+ this way its quicker and you can make connections in your head easier.

Rewriting notes is useful to do before you do any proper revision

I take it you don't do biology! Aqa biology is most definitely not easy!

A2

I have A2 Maths and a few other AS

Well teacher gives notes out and anything I don't fully understand I'll listen to what the teacher is saying

Shooting yourself in the foot if you don't listen at all

Personally I think it's crazy to do more than 3 hours a day however close to exams it is. I'm going on holiday so none for me all Easter- when I get back it'll be around 2 a day if I'm feeling up for it! Did that last year and got AAB in the subjects I'm doing this year so ridiculous amounts of work aren't always the only option!

Maths - Do a past paper. See where you go wrong and which topics you're not very good at. Then look over that topic, make sure you understand it, retry the question you got wrong. Do another past paper, and repeat. You should see your marks increase.

Chem - idk, it just made sense to me. Learn why things happen, don't just go blindly into rote learning mode. Understand content. With definitions and conditions, just sit down and learn them. I didn't and that's where I lost some marks

Econ - I haven't done, but you need to understand the theory, then be able to apply it. Make sure you know your basic graphs and meanings, and also basic terms. Just writing definitions down in the essay questions gets a few marks

I don't understand how people can revise 4+ hours a day. I mean I barely get 2hrs of revision done and I'm already exhausted and I just can't make myself do any more revision for the day any advice to try and keep myself motivated and do more revision? I can't help procrastinating and wasting my time...

Yeah I enjoyed it! Came home after 6, and revised, did a paper and marked it all within an hour (F324, which is chemistry) and it went well so that's done now! So I met my one hour target

Yes I think setting targets is very effective; personally i allocate a day for a topic and review part of spec then past papers. Today was AS biology revision, yesterday was A2 psychology, tomorrow will be A2 biology and A2 French on Thursday and repeat. I also find working very early mornings (5 am) the best for me as I can do 5-7 hours a day and still have the rest of the day to chill and whatnot
