I'd have potentially dropped AS Biology for Economics or Computer Science. Perhaps even Government and Politics.

I chose Physics, Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry. I'm going to be doing Physics at University, so I'd stick with the first three, which are the three I do now in Year 13. Chemistry, however, I didn't enjoy so much, or do as well in as in the others, so in its place, I may have picked IT, Economics, or even English. In that order of preference.

I took biology, chemistry, maths and psychology but I dropped psychology after AS-I wish I had taken physics instead of psychology and I don't think I would have dropped it.

I took Drama and Theatre Studies, English Literature, French, and Latin. Thoroughly enjoyed all of 'em, but wish I could have studied philosophy; five A2s would be hell but we do specialise too early in this country. Can understand the American approach.

At AS I did English Lit, French, History and finished my A2 in Geography the same year so I've just continued the other 3 over to the second A2 year. I really miss Art so I think I would have maybe swapped that for History because history source analysis makes me want to hide in a hole and I still frequently ask my teacher to please just explain what it's aiming to do as a subject much to his dismay haha - I didn't do it at GCSE either! Also there is also a part of me that would have like to have dropped say French at AS and just done 3 A2-Levels in Geography, Art and English Lit and then I could more realistically have achieved impressively high grades...well at least that is what I lie to myself haha. ADVICE TO PROSPECTIVE A-LEVEL STUDENTS: Of course for some with specialist uni courses in mind like medecine etc you will need to do traditional 'facilitating subjects' so ignore what I'm about to say next. But for me (conditional offer at Bristol uni for English Lit @ A*AA but contextual for me at AAB because my school's results are in general umm...hit and miss...) I really wish and realise now that I didn't need to stretch myself as much as I did with my A-level choices - I find French and History pretty darn difficult whereas I met loads of other people on the open day who had got in on the same course but with only 1-2 traditional facilitating subject. So just do what you love and NEVER feel you have to do anything so it looks 'impressive'. Sorry if that all sounds horrid but I'm just being honest.

1. You were young thats why the 'blood' reason ****ed u over

2. Why didnt your mom encourage you to take science ? Did she just told u how bad she failed and never encourage you ? Thats a sign of jealous

3. When u dont do STEM u kinda feel like u have no direction in life, its a natural feeling

4. If u become 30y/o unemployed, regret the day u didnt pick Sciences at A-levels.
