My tip would be to make small flash card questions on your notes, so the question is on side of the card and the answer is on the other. Try to answer all the questions, if you get them all right, read the answer and then try to guess the question. Best way to learn notes in my eyes.

My tip - identify your frequent/commonly used words and come up with shorthands for them to save time writing them out each time!

    Note taking tip:
When you've finished a topic, try to fit the important details onto one side of an A4/A3 piece of paper. When you come to revise it, it doesn't seem so overwhelming! Also, if you're taking subjects which require you to remember equations and formulae, always write these in the same colour with a bubble/box around them or highlighted, it makes them easy to remember and easy to spot when flicking through

    Top Tip:
Highlight key points in bright colours! Sounds obvious but its great for last minute revision, just skim the page and the main points will jump out!

Also a top tip I have for taking notes is using the Cornell method which works for me - dividing your notes into general points, next to it only the most important notes and a quick summary at the bottom of the page. Some could use visual note taking methods like big mind maps on a topic and drawing objects or symbols that help you remember things but that's not really great for me since I can't draw
