    Anyway, I don't see why kissing is a big deal to some. It can be meaningful and passionate or just a gesture; I mean think about all the countries where people kiss to greet each other. When my friends are upset I'll give them a hug and a kiss on the cheek. No kissing (some won't even hug ) until marriage seems so silly to me... what's wrong with physical contact? It strengthens bonds and trust between people and that's only a good thing.

    I agree wholeheartedly.

    I'll do the same, hugs and kisses on the cheek are common occurrences amongst me and my friends (of both sexes). Close contact does make platonic relationships stronger and shouldn't be limited to romantic engagements.

    Though I think people are probably referring to 'proper kissing' (if ya get what I mean) when it comes to this kind of thing :love:
