For the question where you have to show the exact values of tan(A-B), what were the 2 equations given at the start? I remember one as sec^2(A) - tanA = 13 but I can't remember the equation with B.
sinBsec^2B=27cosBcosec^2B?
2. is the new equation x(-2x+5) and -cos*-1(-x)?
3. (Original post by shhenry96)
did we forgot to times it by 4?lol
I reckon something to do with cubed bit, and a 2, cos 2 cubed = 8 so if we had an 8 instead of a 2 it would have been 4x8 instead of 4x2

4 - you had to write the equations of the curves after reflections in both axes.

What were those answers???
Fixed now

is the new equation x(-2x+5) and -cos*-1(-x)?
I got y=-x(5-2x)
6. (Original post by daniellon)
is the new equation x(-2x+5) and -cos*-1(-x)?

yes
7. (Original post by connorbarr)
I got y=-x(5-2x)
No sorry i got y=x(5-2x)
8. (Original post by connorbarr)
No sorry i got y=x(5-2x)
So yes loool
9. (Original post by connorbarr)
I got y=-x(5-2x)
One reflection is on the x axis and another one is on the y axis
10. Unofficial markscheme anybody?
11. (Original post by Mathematicus65)
All seem perfect - how many marks was 7b)
I think I had the same values for a and b but the other way round

My solutions, in order:Y=12x+15
4x-4lnx-1/x+c
3/16(4x+1)^4/3 + c
128, 81.92
31 hours
1/13, 3/4
Show ln2
5/2
A=6, B=5
Graph
Root 0.242
Graph transformations
Ranges: all real, greater or equal to 4a, modulus has no inverse
Inverse: 1/5(x+4a)
X=1.5a, x=-2.5a
Show equiv to 2
4+2root2
0.659
32sin(x)
No guarantee these are right but I'm pretty confident
I got all but 81.92 part.

I got 65.5.. and thus 66.
13. for the question where you find area under curve of e lines I got like 24-3/2 as for logs you put the number in front of the logs as the power ?????
14. (Original post by Ligand)
People are saying they got pi/6 for 9ii but I got 0.6.. something. Anyone else?
I'm pretty sure I did too

16. For the one about modulus, I only got 1 answer as x = 1.5a because when you draw the graphs they only intersect once - did anyone else get that?
17. What grade do you reckon 62 marks will be?

What grade do you reckon 62 marks will be?
Low 90s??
19. (Original post by TheNicholas)
Low 90s??
Thanks do you reckon it will scrape an A* haha
20. Grade boundaries anyone?
Going to guess:
41 - C
47 - B
53 - A
59 - A*
Really difficult paper imo.
