Which is absolutely absurd given the fact that almost all my experiences of actual racism have come from non-whites. Hey maybe it's just me.

Deffo just you. The most racist people I know are the ridiculous Telegraph readers and their children who, when they make a bigoted comment and get called up on it, claim it's just 'political correctness gone mad!!! Assault on the poor Middle Classes!!! Woe is us!!!!'.

Perhaps this is just the UK. In the US I know for a fact that almost always whites are too scared to even mention the word black, let alone a racist comment, whereas blacks and often Asians get away with pure hell.
Although saying that, I've never met a white Brit that wasn't ultra-PC. Again, maybe it's just my surroundings.
