    I did the same method but took 1/8 separate. Took me ages that question because I spent so long trying to complete the square before I gave up and used the formula

    I literally have no idea how anyone can get 100% UMS on edexcel maths papers, is it just pure luck? I mean, it's not particularly difficult to get an A but I don't think 90 minutes is long enough when some of the questions seem deliberately worded to catch you out.

    Guys do you know how many marks does the second last question worth? I did square root of 25 instead cubic root.....but all the methods should be correct.
