what have we done well in this game?
we have essentially had 80 minutes to break down a mid-tabled side and we are yet to have a clear chance.

Brenton doesn't seem to be able to figure out Paul Lambert tactically. In their last 7 meetings prior to today (Liverpool v Villa & Swansea v Norwich) Rodgers has only won twice, and he's lost four of them.

i know we generally find it hard to get through a parked bus but it's normally a bus of top quality, not the villa model.

it isn't our finishing that has been the problem, it's our creation.
we simply didn't give balotelli anything to work with - would it have been so much different with sturridge instead?
also, when it coutinho gonna learn that he's much better assisting than scoring?
