Hey guys can someone explain to me how you analyse a poem's FORM in the comparison question and the Unseen Poetry? I know it's the type of poem such as a narrative or a sonnet, but how would you use these details to make a point? HELP GREATLY APPRECIATED

    PLEASE RESPOND

i did the question about how i respond to ending and i approached at as the ending which symbolises the climax for the birling family from the inpseoct experience.

I talk about how the whole ending encapsulates socialism since priestley used the inpsector to alter characteristics of sheila and eric to make them better people so when the curtian falls these characters are diffrewnt in the end compared to the start. i talked about the exclamation mark and hypen in shiela quiotes represent her realisation of the truama of capitalism causing her social awarness to be raised inginiting the fenmisnt movements due to womens fairer motives-this contrasts from how she was more self obsessed at the start. eric however used his statues to fulffill his lusts and desires but he realises at the end that responsiblity and guilt should be taken. the ending has socilaist motives which was priestley;s motive since he's shhowing how socialism is a concept which cares for everyone even the birlings making them more prepared and ready for the "real" inspector after the phone rang sharply.

sorry for my writing blunders, im typing fast

what did you put for part (a) TKAM?
I just wrote about the characters so
    Bob Ewell was ridiculed
Atticus was polite even though Bob Ewell was rude
Scout seemed intelligent and she seemed to be brought up with a literary background because 'never, never, never ask a witness a question you don't know the answer too' or something,

I didn't really talk about literary techniques though, do we get marked on literary techniques in part a and b? There were no literary techniques at all!

How are the marks typically distributed in the second question?? I did To Kill a Mockingbird and completely messed up part (a), but think I did quite well in part (b).

Please could somebody help me and answer this - I'm really upset:/
I answered the question on 'An Inspector Calls' and I answered a question on a character called Eric. However the question was along the lines of Eric is described as 'half-shy, half-assertive and a little unsure of himself'
Explain how this and other ideas in the play are used to present Priestley's ideas about Eric,
and I wrote a really good essay, but I didn't mention the quotation given:/ is this going to affect my marks as it counts as not directly answering the question? Is a C the most I can now get on this section?
Please could somebody respond to this as soon as possible

They're judged as a whole which means if you did well in part b you have a good chance of getting a good grade.

By little I mean little, very little to what I'm actually capable of.

Hey, I did this question too!
Don't worry it did say "and other methods" so you'll get marks for all that, you may lose about 3/4 for not using that quote

    UGH IT WENT TERRIBLY

An Inspector Calls was okay and I chose the Eric question, but I spent too much time on it!

The To Kill A Mockingbird part (a) was **** and I couldn't find anything of any value in it, part (b) was fine but I ran out of time.

I probably got a C on this exam.

NO MORE ENGLISH IN MY LIFE WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Oh yeah and my teacher didn't say there was SPaG marks lol
oh my gosh, that exactly how i feel, and found the exam except i did 'of mice and men'

Oh okay , you should defo read Purple Hibiscus, a very well written, sensitive account from a young girls perspective of a struggle for freedom from religion and her dad's abusive tendencies. I probably sounded like such a geek then ; I'm really not ; but just have such admiration for the book!

Do you not think I could get like half marks or something because I only technically answered half the question?
