    yes i agree. it's not my thing tbh.
    define naturally gifted. i think im intelligent. whether i am a gifted mathematician or not is something i wont be able to know for a while i would think.

    give me an example of a question you are struggling with, we can go through it together, and then we can try and build/fix your understanding of it
    build for sureeeee.
    uhmm..
    At a given time particle A has position vector (5i - 4j)m relative to a fixed origin O and particle B has position vector (6i + 4j)m relative to O. Find the position vector of B relative to A.

    my mechanics i think...has gotten worse

    why no chance? you have some chance. what are you considering applying for?

    if it's economics, i'll say your chances will be highly knocked if you don't do some further maths.
    This may sound sad but im too scared to do it..:redface:

    the position vector of B relative to A literally mean you need to find  \vec{AB}

    important equation:

     \vec{AB} = \mathbf{b} - \mathbf{a} = \vec{OB} - \vec{OA}

    does that help?

    im gunna guess so that it isn't confused with 'd' for distance, which are two different things...

    We use 's' for distance as well though....!

    but yes, good banter...
    my retarded antics yesterday have gone round the sci staff (as usual, I, aparently, am discussed in there most days o.O) so I had grief from biol teachr today.....hmm

    Im not going to bother applying to oxford or cambridge...won't get in, and wouldn't want to!
