If that's true then I have no hope... I sent mine off at 4pm on the day of the deadline...

Anybody had offers from SOAS or Brunel?
I got my offer from SOAS earlier today! So I expect you'll probably hear back from them very soon!

Applied for CS at Edinburgh, Warwick, St. Andrews, King's College and UCL yesterday. It will probably take quite a while for them to respond, right? :/
Whoa, I'm applying for 4/5 of your unis for CS, too! Warwick took two days and King's took four days to send an offer after sending off the application. However, don't worry if they take longer because it always varies. St Andrews seem to only have just started sending off offers since the UCAS deadline passed so we should hear from them soon. Let me know if you hear from UCL because I'm still waiting for them and it's stressing me the hell out.

    Great minds think alike haha
You must have been a very strong applicant if you received offers so quickly! When did you apply? I think they'll take a bit longer for me as my reference didn't send my predicted grades (Swedish school and they've been reluctant to give predicted grades). I guess I'll call the unis tomorrow asking them if they require the predicted grades and if I should "predict myself" in that case or whatever. Edinburgh emailed me telling me that they require predicted grades so I'll have to provide them before they start considering my app I guess.
I know the feel, I'm really stressed out as well, especially with all of this predicted grade stuff going on :/.

Edinburgh is one of the slowest in my opinion. Last year when I applied I didn't get an offer until March, and this year I've got 4/5 offers but still haven't heard. Will probably just withdraw as I already have an unconditional from my first choice (Oxford)

Advice please even if you think it is bad news.

A friend has had a conditional offer from the same uni and course that I applied to - two weeks later and I have still heard nothing. Does this mean I'm being rejected? My exam results are better but we both attended interviews - I thought mines went ok. Any thoughts welcome - good or bad

It could be either really, there's no way to tell. I'd call up their admissions and ask

It doesn't mean anything beyond the fact that she is slightly higher up the scoring list than you.

You are still in the mix and your application will just work its way up the list as they decide on final numbers of offers etc. This may take until April so no need to give up hope just yet. Phoning the Uni won't help you - they will just tell you that there are more offers to come,

Tell me if I have any hope? I sent in my application for V100 (History) on the day of the deadline and applied for Exeter, York, Kent, Queen Mary's and Nottingham. They had my complete application on Tuesday due my referee who failed to sent the reference in on Friday. I'm feeling like I went for too good unis, although I meet their entry requirements.

If they do give me an offer when should I hear back from them? Feeling so nervous.

I applied to Kent too (on 26 December) and haven't heard back yet. I have heard from quite a few people now that Kent hasn't got back to them yet so I feel like they tend to take a while. Could be completely different for you ofc! Good luck with your application

If you apply in the tidal wave of last minute applications, it will always take Unis longer to get to your application.

All Unis will respond differently so there is no 'pattern' to expect - and remember that some offers (from all Unis) will not be made until March/April so you are just going to have to be patient about this.

I had some difficulty with the reference because in Belgium they just don't seem to know or care about unis outside of Belgium...

I applied some time in November and I am still waiting to hear back from Leeds Uni. I am worried as people I know have received offers from there and it is the only one I am waiting to hear back from now plus it is my first choice uni

When did people get replies back from USW and Cardiff?

I've applied for midwifery and as far as I'm aware nobody has heard from these two about my course. But I'm wondering how long it took for other courses

Anyone know how long Sheffield, Leicester, Birmingham, Nottingham and Leeds take to respond? In the biological sciences department.

Also, if you applied, what were your predicted grades and what were their offers?

    Thanks.
I applied for a biological science at Sheffield and Leicester from your list. I sent my application on 1st January. And I got acknowledgements within 10 days for all my uni's. I have predicted grades of ABB in my 3 main Alevels. And I had a conditional offer 3 days ago from Leicester for BBB. I haven't had an offer from Sheffield yet, hope that helps
