is this some sort of joke? are you ACTUALLY being serious? all the etonians i know use mate on a regular basis. yes they say it to people they don't know, for example bus drivers. using a word doesn't make you lower class, sorry.
Oh you happen to know Etonians, how convenient. Just give up, you use lower class words, now stop crying and revise.

I'm just out to meet Osama Bin Laden (blatant lie just like your one)

you're actually an idiot.

multiple etonians went to my prep school, and through socials/friends of friends/friends of my parents children i know quite a few more. if someone at my school (harrow) didn't know anyone from eton i'd be incredibly surprised. i know pretty much at least one person from all the major public school - it's not uncommon you know. ask anyone who goes to a well known public school, they'll tell you how it is, especially those who go to eton and harrow - we even play cricket against them annually......for over 100 years. eton isn't some school where no body socialises outside of the 'eton circle'. if you ever do meet one, ask them if they know anyone in RGGP. oh yeah if you didn't know harrow is pretty much equal to eton in terms of prestigiousness.

and yeah alright, i'm going to be told i use lower class words by someone who clearly has the credentials to make such an judgement.

Harrow is not equal to Eton, it's close it, but not actually equal. I know about the rivalry and all of that. If you do actually go to Harrow then I'm surprised that you use words such as 'mate', it is so common.

:yep: i dont Really mind what my fifth uni choice is because i would be happy wiv any of them four - and i do Geography  Philosophy :cry2: Sociology :woo: and i dropped Biology + General Studies at AS :yep:

how is English ( lang / lit ? ) and Physics i was thinkin of takin them
You did 5 As Levels? Nice one. I do English lit - It's my favourite subject, probably because there are hardly any exams and each lesson is basically a class discussion so it's pretty easy going as well as being really interesting

Physics used to be fun...and then came module 2 :eek3: My exam is in 2 weeks and I'm pretty sure I'm not going to do very well, it makes me so confused and my brain hurts just thinking about it

Hence....I can't wait to drop physics!

My school doesn't even do Philosophy, Sociology or General Studies - what are they like?

My school doesn't do any of those! It's a bit 'traditionalist'. Yeah, people try to pressure the headmaster into bringing in new subjects but apparently this doesn't work so they just leave ha so apparently you can't do anything here either.....

I'd have thought physics and geography would be quite well suited? Whereas I'm not quite sure how I managed Physics and English together?
