Umm, generally you hang out with people from your halls in my experience. The only exception is if you make some close friends from classes or societies.

I hadn't either. You are at no disadvantage at all.
Ahh thankyou! Also, how are the people there? Is there a good crowd at LSE?

The student body is so mixed! You have East Asian students who tend to form cliques, some students who are extremely career driven, and lots of students who are there to work but have fun and make friends!

There is pretty much a group for everyone, so you should be okay

You most probably will have to share with someone else - graduates are given priority for single rooms there :3

Yeah just noticed - Bankside it is

I only want accomodation for the first year so a single room would be preferable!

    Where are you thinking?

Lillian Penson is a solid hour walk from LSE or a 30 minute tube journey, better Intercollegiate ones are College or Connaught hall

Around 5-7 days, it literally has the offer letter and the welcome guide which is the same as each year and also available online as a PDF.

I've stayed there in the past, and quite liked it. The fact that the food's decent and that it has ensuite rooms for my price bracket is more important to me than the distance.

I feel like everybody wants Bankside

I might try for High Holborn too, it's expensive but it's only for a year!

Hope we'll get it I've heard that Passfield is one of the most social halls so should be a year of fun!

does anyone have a ranking for the halls considering social life/facilities/good rooms? But probably considering the social aspect as more important.
