My guess:

100 UMS = 69/72
90 UMS = 63/72
A = 57/72

They're two separate terms, so you integrate them separately. 1 becomes x, cos1/2x becomes 2sin1/2x. I think?

Oh ffs. I just don't think straight in exams. I didn't know what to do with the 1. So stupid. At least I'll pick up maybe a mark for integrating cos1/2x

I think they're a little bit high to be honest - the June 2014 and June 2013 had similar boundaries to those above and were way easier.

Yeah that is Q but the question asked for the area bounded by the curve, the X axis and X=1/2lnk

I know they can't, otherwise the thing you are asked to prove would be wrong.

I am saying that in you solution, you can't just say "odd*odd is always divisible by three and therefore the expression is divisible by three" because odd*odd is NOT ALWAYS divisible by three.

You have to break it down to the three (actually only two) possible remainders.

ComputerMaths97 also posted a nice valid proof.
