Did anyone else have technical problems with AQA French listening??
    !
Our listening tracks were fine. Must have been a technical hitch on your college's end. Seems strange though.

First 3 questions were fine, then it fell apart on the vector question and the Cartesian question. It was like another person was sitting my exam, I had no clue what to do. Not even confident I've picked up many method marks. This was the first exam this season (I've done 6 others) where I burst into tears after it. I thought C3 wasn't that bad either.

This paper was honestly a gift, although I definitely didn't do it justice.

    For the comparative essay
    For the unseen prose

I really loved the question for the comparative bit and I've actually read 'The Secret History', which the unseen passage was chosen from, and I'm unsure whether that's an advantage or a disadvantage, so that's why I'm only happy about it and not very happy

I'd done ever paper, gold paper, questions by topic but Edexcel had a fetish for putting 5 different unknowns in every question and telling you no actual information

    Happy

Not confident enough to put the grinning face! Secularisation as a 33 marker was a complete gift and I planned the 9 and 18 markers literally last night!

It actually seemed much easier compared to previous years paper. As long as my essay was decent, then I should definitely get an A overall, but I may even scrape an A*.

I made a mistake on the last question, but other than that it was pretty straight forward.

Do universities see your unit grades on results day too? Or just your grades? Or even your entire application + GCSE's and A2 grades? I'm really hoping they don't just get our overall grades and that's it.

Unfortunately I think they just get your overall grade, so if you were only 1 UMS off the next grade I don't think they'd know. However, if this was the case and they didn't reject you straight away, you could perhaps ring and mention this and then get a remark for the 1 mark. I'm not 100% sure about this, though, so hopefully somebody more knowledgeable can confirm this.
