It is. The fact that people were making more noise because of the referee when you were winning is atrocious.
Atleast we dont need an audio specialist to help generate and atmosphere...

A lot of talk about the young lad pre-match but all I saw was Gibbs schooling him.
Gibbs is flourishing this season, could be as good as Cashley imo. Need the young lad to stay away from injuries, can also pop up with the old wonder strike or two like his crisp volley at the Liberty.

Tottenham were at 8 points ahead at one point lol. Watching them crumble and taking the CL spot from them season after season is as brilliant as winning trophies

The last time we lost on the last day of the season, was in the 2004/5 season. Odds look good

Doesn't matter what club you support if you're calling the emirates a library then what does that make old trafford?

What happened to inconsistent Walcott eh? Despite all the doubt over his suitability for the first team at the beginning of the season etc he's proved his worth, 3 crucial goals in the last 3 games. 21 goals so far right?

That would mean Ramsey having to play as the deep midfielder which I don't think he can do

It might mean we play coquelin :dontknow:

That's a tricky one to be honest. That's really the one spot that we don't have much backup for at the moment. I suppose Coquelin would be the ready made swap, but it seems like he's disappeared off the face of the planet recently. All of this talk about Jack's fitness makes me wonder whether he'll start. He could do, but I think there's a chance that Ramsey and Rosicky might start in the midfield, with Cazorla moving back to the middle again. With Giroud back, it means we can have Podolski on the left and Walcott on the right again.

That young lad playing for Wigan is something.. I know Gibbs had in his pockets, but his dribblings and mazy runs are simply amazing! Maybe Arsenal can put in a cheeky bid for him?

What was also good today's performance is that the players raised their game. We were poor against Fulham and QPR but today we saw a difference. We need to play at this high level for the trip to Newscastle

    Crucial win:

Szcesny: Could have saved the free kick imo, but unbelievable top class save early doors 2nd half 7/10
Sagna: Had his usual wtf moments but steadied. 6/10
Koscielny: unbelievable stretch to clear 1st half and was his usual reliable self 7/10
Mertesacker: Not his kind of game. Never put a foot wrong though 6/10
Gibbs: Got the best of Mcmanaman and v.good going forward 8/10
Arteta: Great distribution 1st half but faded as is typical. Never a free kick for their goal though 7/10
Rosicky: In and out with little end porudct 6/10
Ramsey: Wasteful often first half but he was our best player for a time in the 2nd hald when we were trying to get back on top. Took his goal v.well although he could have given Poldi his hattrick tbh 8/10
Cazorla: Majestic. His passing range was on full view and his final ball couldnt have been better. The pass and general move for Walcott's was perfection. 9/10
Walcott: Really wanted it tonight, touch let him down at times but he kept going and got his rewards. 8/10
Podolski: Got the goals when it counted and in general had great touch and movement 8/10

First 30 minutes we were cruising and playing the perfect game but as recently, we just lost our way suddenly. Never a free kick for their goal and after 60 minutes I was bricking it. Walcott's goal was so important as we werent at the races really before it.

One thing I noticed during the 'lap of honour' was just how awkward Arsene is. I love him to bits and think hes a genius, but he really has never got the English football culture. He really does just want to drive stright home to Totteridge to watch video tapes of 2nd division French football. The contrast with Fergie was striking tbh.

Also I know Santi dont speak English, but does he really not get that the fans are singing out him during ''wooooaaaahh saannntii caaazoorlllaa'' or is he just giving it the big un? haha

What makes you think you'll get the 3points on Sunday? You haven't got 4th yet, still all to play for.

Pardew and Wenger got a little rivalry after Pardew took the micky when he celebrated right in front of Wenger when he was managing at West Ham. He'll also want to make up for his comments earlier this week and don't forget Arsenal beat them 7-3 at the Emirates, they'll want revenge.

Great result tonight and so it goes down to the last day once again - definitely would have taken this position a couple of months or so ago.

One of those games where you are questioning your life at half time and buzzing at full time. Sagnas body language at the end will add fuel to the rumours he's off
