# AQA Physics PHYA4 - 20th June 2016 [Exam Discussion Thread] Watch

How many marks do you guys think 43/50 will be in the ISA? It was the one about the pendulum SHM
I would say 46 UMS (high B) assuming the boundaries will be similar to last year's.

I ****ed the ISA (again) and got 36/50...

I'm hoping the boundaries will drop by one then I might get an A* (I think/hope I got 120 (just) in the papers)...

How many UMS marks would 40/55 be for the EMPA?

Posted from TSR Mobile
56-60/60.

56-60/60.
What did you get for the gradient in the EMPA?

Around -1.9 I think? Might be remembering wrong though.
5. in the EMPA, was the unit of s cm^5?

....

Well, there's my A gone. I wish our school just did the EMPA so there's no disgusting grade boundaries as a result of countrywide cheating

That sounds familiar but the EMPA was so long ago and I didn't note down my answers so I can't say for sure.

no worries. people are saying it was just cm but i really think it's cm^5

You worry so much! I see you everywhere checking things and predicting UMS XD You should hibernate until the 18th

I remember it being cm^5.*

that's not something my mind is capable of doing

oh btw, while you're here, do you think AQA fp2 was harder this year than last year? (i'm sorry lmao)

Lol I don't think it was harder than last year tbf but I performed worse this year (missed a while question on induction lol) it was certainly not that straightforward but not too bad

yep, i agree that it was easier than last year's - i just hope it's not considered TOO easy (as in june 2010 and earlier easy)

you don't think it's gonna be like 68/75 for an A*, 63 for an A, 56 for a B etc right?

Would you say that:

A*: 65
A: 61
B: 54

would be reasonable?

I hope it is the case for the sake of my own offer

I got -1.99 hopefully there will be a big range.

(Sorry didn't read while chat, I thought you were referring to Physics)
Nah I doubt it would even be that high, probably 60-62 for A* in Unit 4.

Thinking about it I think I may have got closer to -2.0 than -1.9. Maybe about -1.97 or something. We're in the right ballpark anyway.

I'm talking about FP2
